If someone asks us about the most emblematic route of the Aigüestortes National Park and the Lake Sant Maurici, the vast majority will agree with the Portarrò d’Espot route.
This one-day itinerary takes you to two of the most significant places in the park, the Aigüestortes Plain and Lake Sant Maurici, passing through the great port of Portarró.
This route proposes to cross the National Park through the Val d’Aran, Pallars Sobirà and Alta Ribagorça along the historical paths that cross the most beautiful areas of the park.
The route follows some paths that have been retrieved and signposted within the Camins Vius program, an initiative of Depana and the National Park.
